WARREN CO., Miss. (WLBT) – If you’re heading into Jackson this morning from Vicksburg, your commute will likely take longer than expected.

All eastbound lanes of I-20 at Flowers/Ceres Boulevard, Exit 15, between Bovina and Edwards are blocked after a crash occurred there around 9 a.m.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said the crash involved an 18-wheeler, a tanker truck, and a cargo van.

The law enforcement agency reported that the driver of the cargo van was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries and that the other two drivers sustained no injuries.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, a tanker truck overturned and is leaking fluid.

MHP and the Warren County District Four firefighters are on the scene.

MDOT says motorists should seek an alternate route, and that the lanes will be closed “until further notice.”
