A 32-year-old woman, identified as Mandy K, was injured by a polar bear at the Berlin Zoo on Friday after she entered the enclosure during feeding time. To gain access, she climbed over a fence, a hedge, and a wall.

As she entered the enclosure, the bear attacked her, causing significant injuries to her arms, legs, and back.

Despite the efforts of six zookeepers to distract the four bears, one bear β€œrepeatedly bit the victim on the arms and legs.” The zookeepers eventually managed to scare the bear away and rescue Mandy.
